What we collect, and what we don't.

The short version: we don't sell your data, we don't track you across apps or websites, and there are no ads. What we collect is what the app needs to work.
What we collect
- Your account: an identifier, the handle you pick, and — if you sign in with Apple, Google or email — the email address tied to it.
- What you watch: shows, films, episodes marked as seen, ratings, watchlist, watch dates. This is the whole point of the app.
- What you write: reviews, comments, the GIFs you attach, and a profile picture if you upload one.
- Who you follow and the likes you give.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no advertising SDKs.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't use the IDFA.
- We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
- We don't read your contacts, your location or your photos — except the one you choose as your profile picture.
Where the data lives
Data is hosted on Supabase (servers in the European Union). Film and TV metadata comes from TMDB, GIFs from Klipy: we never pass your identity to either.
What's public and what isn't
Your library, your ratings and your progress are yours and private. Only your handle, profile picture, reviews, comments and the activity you generate are public — visible to other users. Set your profile to private and your content is only visible to followers you approve.
Deleting everything
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. Library, watched episodes, ratings, reviews, comments and photos all go. For good: we keep no copies and there's no backup to restore from.
Children
Showries isn't intended for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

In breve: non vendiamo i tuoi dati, non ti tracciamo fra app o siti, non c'è pubblicità. Quello che raccogliamo serve a far funzionare l'app.
Cosa raccogliamo
- Il tuo account: un identificativo, il nick che scegli e — se accedi con Apple, Google o email — l'indirizzo associato.
- Quello che guardi: serie, film, episodi visti, voti, watchlist, date di visione. È il cuore dell'app.
- Quello che scrivi: recensioni, commenti, le GIF che alleghi, e la foto profilo se ne carichi una.
- Chi segui e i "mi piace" che metti.
Cosa NON facciamo
- Niente pubblicità e nessun SDK pubblicitario.
- Non ti tracciamo su altre app o altri siti. Non usiamo l'IDFA.
- Non vendiamo né cediamo i tuoi dati a nessuno.
- Non leggiamo la rubrica, la posizione o le foto — tranne quella che scegli tu come immagine del profilo.
Dove stanno i dati
I dati sono ospitati su Supabase (server nell'Unione Europea). Le informazioni su film e serie arrivano da TMDB, le GIF da Klipy: a nessuno dei due passiamo la tua identità.
Cosa è pubblico e cosa no
La tua libreria, i voti e i progressi sono tuoi e privati. Sono pubblici — cioè visibili agli altri — solo il nick, la foto profilo, le recensioni, i commenti e l'attività che generi. Se metti il profilo su privato, i tuoi contenuti li vedono solo i follower che accetti.
Cancellare tutto
Puoi eliminare il tuo account dall'app: Impostazioni → Elimina account. Spariscono libreria, episodi visti, voti, recensioni, commenti e foto. Definitivamente: non teniamo copie e non c'è un backup da cui recuperarli.
Minori
Showries non è pensata per chi ha meno di 13 anni e non raccogliamo consapevolmente i loro dati.
